This image shows the end of the restoration of a vintage vespa bike, done in an italian repair shop. I wanted to add a lot of little details, like the calendar, the photographs of the wall (I did that photographs in Rome last may), and my cup of coffee and zippo.
It´s done in 3dsmax (mental ray) and photoshop for textures and dof. (render time about 20 hours, real resolution 2000*1250).
Comments and critics are welcome, I hope you like it:

Iggy Pop (caricature)

Hi everybody:
This image is based mainly on a Sebastian Kruger caricature of Iggy Pop, I also used as references some photographs I found on Iggy´s official web.
I wanted to do something organic but not too realistic. It´s made with 3dsmax8 (default scanline renderer, and a few omni lights). I also used the new system included with max8 for the hair, Textures are made with Photoshop, and I did the final look of the image with combustion, adding some glow and grain.

I hope you like it, comments and critics are welcome.

Thanks.

This is my last work, an image based on the Warhammer world. It´s mainly a modeling and texturing exercise, but I also wanted to play around with fur and hair, a thing that I´ve never done before. Comments and critics are most welcome, I hope you like it.
Thanks.
